If you know me well, you'll know I'm a huge foodie. I read food blogs, I tick off places that I've brunched at from The Breakfast Blog, I watch Nigella Express on the Food Channel, read The Age Epicure, indulge in a bit of Barefoot Contessa/Master Chef/Top Chef/Lydia's Italy now and then too. But nothing tops the Vue De Monde experience; after a much anticipated wait!
J and I fine dined our way through 8 courses over 4 hours...it actually felt shorter than that though. It's strange how at VDM you don't check your watch, or worry about when your next course is coming, unlike at other restaurants...it's the whole ambience and vibe that VDM gives off.
But a picture tells a thousand words, so on with the show! :) *NB: Not all 8 courses are shown...because I was too lazy to upload all the photos. All of them are up on my Facebook profile though.
Tonight I'm going to Number 8 at Crown. Those Entertainment book vouchers are expiring on Sunday and we need to make full use of them before then! It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. :)
